Geoffrey Zee

Mr. Zee represents banks and other institutional lenders in real estate finance transactions involving multifamily affordable housing. Throughout his career, he has handled all aspects of real estate transactions from documentation, due diligence, closing, amendments/modifications and other post-closing matters.

Before joining KMO Partners, Mr. Zee was Real Estate & Corporate Counsel at Public Storage where he represented the company in property acquisitions and dispositions of self-storage facilities and raw land, property and land management issues, construction matters for new developments and redevelopments, and commercial leasing activity at mixed-use locations.

Mr. Zee graduated summa cum laude from Binghamton University in 2011 with a B.A. in Economics. He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2015, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as Managing Editor of the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law.
